A Must Have For Travelers – The Bluesmart Bag

Bluesmart Luggage – Bluesmart bag was one of the first to truly make a smart carry-on, which caused a stir on the market. Although it’s a nice carry-on with good smart features, the first thing I did with my Bluesmart bag was to download the app and pair it with my suitcase, which was a very formal process since the app shows everything you need to do.

For the case itself, I used the included USB cable charger, put it on my wall adapter and let the case load. The supporting materials indicated that the case will be fully charged after a few hours. The app has a symbol that also allows you to check the battery life.

The main compartment of the case offers plenty of space for clothes, shoes, etc., and the second compartment (which is easily accessible via an external flap) could easily accommodate both laptop and tablet.

I packed the suitcase with some clothes and got ready to play around with the app, which is very clean. I tried out the built-in scaling feature, a technology not easily found on other suitcases.

As someone who is constantly busy weighing bags, it will be incredibly useful for future trips. The scale function also has another practical aspect in which you can enter your flight number and information to make sure your carry-on is the right weight. You can also enter your flight information and ultimately track past travel or share routes with friends.

My favorite feature is the USB ports near the handle. After knowing that the case was fully charged, I connected my iPhone to the case via the charger and saw that my phone was charging. This is the feature that many travelers fall in love with because while I have noticed on recent trips that many national and international airports have set up charging stations at gates and these areas tend to be slightly overrun. With this feature, you can find a seat, park your hand luggage nearby and charge your phone before the flight departs.

The “You bring me back” notification on your phone seems a useful feature for them to be forgetful among us who are walking the duty-free area of the airport and accidentally leaving our bags behind. If you’re one of those people, the Bluesmart bag is definitely going to save a lot of your time, energy and money trying to find the bag you just lost.

As far as the suitcase itself is concerned, a suitcase like the Bluesmart bag might be useful. And it’s worth noting that the Bluesmart bag is not really a hard shell / hardside bag; there is a fabric composite flap that covers almost a whole side. One possible consequence is that the exterior of the Bluesmart bag may show more wear and scratches than others, and while it is durable overall, this side of the exterior (for easy access on the front) is made of fabric; This means that it may spill or get dirtier than other hardshell cases. I did like that the fabric could be pulled off for easy access and that I did not have to unpack everything to get into one part of the suitcase. But if you are looking for a TRUE hard shell, this may not be the best option.

But for short trips or anyone who’s super careful with their luggage anyway, the Bluesmart bag doesn’t seem like a bad option, in fact, it’s a pretty good one if you consider all the features it comes with and the price point as well.

The suitcase itself is lightweight and the four-wheel drive makes it easy to travel around with so you’re not struggling to try to drag your suitcase from one place to another.

But Before You Buy It.

The Bluesmart bag (and related features and technologies) is priced at $450, and is good especially for frequent travelers who need to keep in touch. The price is okay, especially considering the innovative scale and lock functions. I even admit that for such a “techie” object, it is pretty chic, with a clean, minimalist design.

There’s not much on the market like this one, so doesn’t hurt to give it a try.

For business travelers, the Bluesmart bag carry-on package is very comprehensive in terms of both the app’s features and the lightweight case (the features are far more extensive than continuing). The features, such as the scale, the lock, and above all the fact that the case itself can become the charging station for your equipment, are relatively new features in the world of luggage.

However, we now see those more frequently at Bluesmart bag competitors, and it’s not the only “smart” option for travelers. Less frequent or budget travelers should be aware that they do not derive so much from the techie qualities of this suitcase and weigh up these considerations before buying. It’s also worth noting that while I liked the Bluesmart bag as a whole, it’s not a real hard shell / hard side; this could be a bonus for easy access, but it’s also a potential downside to its durability in harsh conditions.
